I recently stayed at a hotel just off the highway to Chiang Rai and I couldn't have been happier with my choice. The hotel offers stunning views of serene rice paddies, providing a truly tranquil atmosphere. The rooms, complete with balconies or verandahs, were clean and quiet, ensuring a peaceful stay. The owners of the hotel, Khun Fai and Khun Opal, were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. It was also convenient to explore the surrounding area, with easy access to the mountains, little villages, and beautiful lakes. I highly recommend this hotel for its value, attentive staff, and lovely views.
No improvements needed, everything was perfect.

The staff, Khun Fai and Khun Opal, were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel at home. The hotel's location near the daily market and Doi Saket temple was convenient for exploring the area. this hotel provides basic amenities and a beautiful view, making it a great choice for a peaceful stay.

Great location with stunning views of the countryside and rice paddies from the balcony. The owners were extremely helpful and spoke excellent English, making communication easy. A short walk to the local town offered a bus stop for easy access to the city center, which was about 30 minutes away. The nearby Thai restaurant had delicious options for vegetarians and meat-eaters alike.
Some rooms may be noisy due to being located near the main road. The downside of staying outside of the city center is that it requires a bit of planning to get to and from activities and attractions.

This guesthouse is well situated for exploring the gorgeous surrounds, with lakes and charming little villages just a bike ride away. the Doi Saket temple is also nearby. the room and bathroom are kept clean and tidy, and the staff provide decent service. there is no breakfast included, so you'll need to grab something at a nearby cafe or restaurant. the views from the balcony are lovely though.
There's a bit of noise from the nearby busy road, so if you're sensitive to loud sounds this might not be the place for you.

Great option for those seeking a quiet stay, away from the city center. Easy access to the local yellow taxi bus stop, which takes about 30 minutes to reach the city. the nearby temples and handicraft centers provide a great way to spend the day.
